CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-36 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL GENERAL FUND BUDGET AND FINAL <br />AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2026 <br />WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has presented a TOTAL (Proposed) Budget of $707,357.00 <br />which includes a General Tax Levy of $630,052.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $85,778.00 for fiscal <br />and calendar year 2026 based upon best estimates of costs for running the City of Gem Lake in <br />2026; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did review, on December 16, 2025, the TOTAL Budget and Tax <br />Levy for 2026 including all revisions thereto as of the date first written. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does <br />formally adopt the 2026 Final General Fund Budget of $707,357.00 and the Final Property Tax <br />Levy as follows: <br />General Property Tax Levy $611,435.00 <br />Debt Levy 83,370.00 <br />Fiscal Disparities 21,025.00 <br />Total Property Tax Levy $715,830.00 and; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and <br />Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this <br />information is required. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilmember Lindner and was supported by <br />Councilmember Johnson and was declared adopted based upon the following vote: <br />NAME <br />ARTIG-SWOMLEY <br />CACIOPPO <br />LINDNER <br />JOHNSON <br />PATRICK <br />Vote <br />I y <br />A <br />Y <br />I Y <br />Y <br />Attest <br />I, Barbara Suciu, the duly qualified City Clerk for the City of Gem Lake, County of Ramsey, <br />State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a true and accurate <br />representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on the date first <br />written. <br />December 16, 2025 <br />Barbara uciu, WCityAAAAW <br />Date <br />59 <br />
