Permit Request. <br />Jeff and I are requesting a Conditional Use:Peririit to build an accessory structure on our property <br />located at3825 Scheuneman Road Gem lake, MN 5S110. This structure would be located on the. <br />Southwest Corner of our property (see Attached location map). We are asking for a 36 ft Wide by 40 ft <br />Long (I.440, sq ft) accessory s..tructure to aiso:inc.lude a bonus room above. <br />This structure would be used to. store lawn equipment anti personal vehicles. As shown by the overhead <br />view: many of our vehicies a. re now stored outside. The bonus rooin would. be used as a craft room_ We <br />would like to rough in sewer and water irito this structure along with gas. and electricity, We.believe we <br />would have to run -separate meters for these utilities. There is a sewer line that runs along the South <br />property line from the residences behind us. <br />We are also asking to place the structure 25 feett' fro the Wespro.perty line. There are very large pine <br />trees that define this line, we do. not .beHeve the structure wauId.have any impact. to the neighbors. <br />There is one pine tree circled in red on the attached location map that will need to be removed to allow <br />for a gravel driveway to be installed to access the.accessory building.. <br />There is a 4400t..6-inch drop in grade from the existing structure to the new structure. The: new <br />structure height is 28 feet 3 inches, The existing structure. is 24 feet. in height. Due to the grade; the new <br />accessory building will not exceed the existing structure height. See the additional location map <br />attached.. <br />We are not aware of any water sheds on the property. <br />Legal description is. attached. <br />Proposed schedule <br />If permit is approved, removal of the garden fence would begin this Fall 2021. The shed would be moved <br />to another location on the property.
