s City of Gem Lake, NIN <br />Resolution No..2021-0011 <br />November 16, 202I <br />A RESOLUTI.ON DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES 'FOR'THE Z022 <br />ELECTIONS. <br />WHOU, REAS, Minnesota Statute10413.i6 requires the .City.Council to designate polling places <br />for the upcoming year by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS; changes tAie polling -places locations may be made at least 90 days before the <br />.next election if one or more,ofte authorized polling places becomes unavailable for use; and <br />WHEREAS, changes tb the polling places locations may be made in the case an emergency <br />when it is necessary to ensure a safe and secure location for voting; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE,-RE'IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Gem Lake heroby <br />designates *the following polling places for any eleetions- conducted in the City in2Q22: <br />Heritage Hall., 4200.0tter Lake. -Road, Geri: Lake, NW 551-10 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to designate a replacement <br />meeting the requirements of the Minnesota Election Law for any polling place designated in this <br />fifi Resolution tMt becomes unavailable. for use by the City; and <br />BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to designate.an emergency <br />replacement.pollhng place meeting the requirements of the Minnesota Election Law for any polling place. <br />.designated in this Resolution when necessary to. ensure.a safe and secure location for voting; and. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED), that the City Cleric is directed to send _&copy of thus.
