SIXTY-FOURTH MEETING - VILLAGE OF GEM LAKE COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15th 1964 - HOFFMANS CORNERS HALL <br />1. THE MAYOR CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 8:30 PM. <br />2. THE CLERK CALLED THE ROLL - <br />PRESENT - Mayor Hoffman, Hansen, Arcand, Gray, Morgan and Dave <br />Hoffman and Clarence Wild. <br />ABSENT - None. <br />3. THE CLERK READ TIIM MI1dUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING HELD <br />NOVEMBER 17th 1964. Moved by Arcand and seconded by Hansen that <br />same be approved as read. All ayes. <br />4. Presentations from the Floor - none. <br />5. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES - none. <br />6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - <br />a. Ax suggested Dog Ordinance was presented by the Clerk, but it <br />did not fully meet the thoughts of the Council and the Clerk <br />was requested to prepare a further suggestion and was supplied <br />with some other ordinances to work with. <br />7. NEW BUSINESS - <br />a. The following cigarette licenses were approved for 1965. <br />Earl LABore, Burlap Lounge, Ell t s D-X-, Fred Roth, Hoff mans <br />Food Market and Pioneer Drive -In. <br />b. Payments were received by the Treasurer for both "ON" and "OFF - <br />Sale" liquor licenses,, <br />c. The Clerk presented a Gun Ordinance to the council with the object <br />of preventing shooting in the Village if and when the County <br />vacates Ramsey County as a Game Preserve.
