CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-11 <br />( 14 Dee-em b er 1999 <br />WHEREAS, .Hoffman Corner Oil has applied for renewal of a. Retail Tobacco Products .Resellers:Lir erise for the period 01 <br />January 2000 through 31. December.2000;. and <br />WHEREAS, said applicant. has:.been similarly licensed in prior years.:in the City of Gem Lake; and <br />WHEREAS, said applicant has operated the establishmentwithonly minor indident during.4999; and <br />WHEREAS, .the State'Of Minnesota. has.:Wacted legislation, reference. Chapter 227 / HY..117, requiring. local.-ttn is of <br />government to establish i3k update local ordinanceS rogulhting.retail tobaoco sales and providing for compliance checks, the cost <br />of which.shall be born by the licensee; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has.established:a Tobacco Compliance Ordinance No. 68 which became effective 28 February <br />.1998. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does hereby approve renewal of the <br />a RETAIL TOBACCO P.RODUCTS:RESELLERS LICENSE to Hoffman Corner Oil for the period 01 January 2000 through. <br />3.1 December 2000; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDFthat.the City.retains the right. of revocation at any time. in the event otviolation of State laws <br />regarding the retail sale of tobacco products. <br />ATTEST <br />the foregoing resolution was. offered by Council Member* and supported by Council:Member and. %teas: <br />declared adopted ona. unanimous vote of the City Council. <br />1, Frederic C.
