Big. Fox Rd, This letter supplements <br />the Agreement for Professionai. Services between the City of Gem Lake(Owner), and Short Elliott <br />Hendrickson Inc. (SEHO} [Consultant], for providing professional services. <br />Scope. of Work <br />Weunderstand theproject. to .consist of preparing the construction plans meeting State Aid Requirements <br />for the construction of a sidewalk along County Road E, from Labore Rd on the west and Big Fox Rd on <br />the east. The scope would. include preparing the necessary application for cost participation with Ramsey <br />County for the anticipated improvements. <br />There are no planned Roadway, Utility or Traffic Signal improvements to County Rd E as part of the <br />project. <br />Our scope of work for the sidewalk improvements described. above would be as follows: <br />Perform a topographic survey of the project area for use in preparation of the construction plans and <br />any necessary easements. The survey will include a review of the existing structures and trees Within <br />the project area to identify potential conflicts with the proposed improvements. <br />• Assist City in preparation of the necessary Ramsey County documents and application for cost. <br />participation. <br />• Prepare the construction documents meeting state aid requirements that will identify the proposed <br />improvements, include an estimate of probable construction costs, and a schedule <br />Coordinate with Ramsey County public works and private utilities to identify conflictswith the. <br />proposed improvements. <br />Review construction documents with the: City prior to the advertisement for bids. <br />Assist the City during the bidding process (advertisement for bids, bid opening, and contract award <br />processes). <br />• Assist the City with.
