White Bear and -the City. of Gem Lake with. suggested changes redlined;. Pursuant to <br />the recommendation of the City Auditors, Clifton, Larson & Allen, I have `included suggested. <br />language to eliminate any confusion. It is my understanding that the Town should review the <br />Agreement for any additions. that could assist both parties. In the changes there has been <br />elimination of some services from certain..Town Departments. <br />In addition, the Agreerent is a per annum agreement that should. be. renewed in each calendar <br />year and included in the review, the prevailing wage rates should. be.noted.tor budget.: purposes. <br />The. review should..occur by both the Town and the City:in September of each calendar year.. <br />According to the auditor, there could be an issue that a service was performed by a Town <br />employee that had a higher wage rate. I believe this was what the auditor was attempting to <br />clarify, in other wards, the rate'is established by the category of the individual performing the <br />service. <br />Again; this is a draft for your review.
