Minnesota 5511.0 RESOLUTION NO.201.9-.08 SEPTEMBER 17; 2019 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2020 WHEREAS,: the City Treasurer has presented a (Proposed) General Fund Budget of $563,288.00 which includes a (Proposed) General Tax Levy of $496,938.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $8.1,835.00. for fiscal and calendar year 2020 based upon best estimates. of costs.for running. the City of Gem Lake in 2020; . and WHEREAS, these estimates were. reviewed by the City Council on 17 September, 2019 and amended based upon best information received from outside contractors and input from the City Council Now, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does formally adopt the 2020 Preliminary General Fund Budget of $563,288.00 which includes a Preliminary General Tax Levy of $496;938.60 and a Preliminary.. Debt. Levy of $81,83.5.00 for 2020 as prepared by the City Treasurer and amended by the City Council; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and Debt Levy to Ramsey .County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this information is required.
