City of Gem Lake <br />City Council. Meeting -April 17, 2018 <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Mayor U2pen called the meeting to order at 7.00 p.m. Councilmembers Artig-Swornley, Cacioppo, Kuny <br />and Lindner were present. Others in attendance: City Clerk Tori Leon hardt, City Engineer Justin Gese, <br />City Planner Tom Riedesel, Nathan Fair, Fritz Magnumn and Steve Valley. <br />April 17, 2018, Agenda <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />the agenda for April 17, 2018, motion passed. Agenda approved. <br />Minutes <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner; seconded by Councilmember Cacioppo to approve the. <br />March 7, 2018, special city council minutes, motion passed. Minutes approved. A motion was made by <br />Councilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swom ley to approve the minutes forthe <br />March 20, 2018, city council meeting, motion passed. Minutes approved: <br />Committee Reports <br />None. <br />Newsletter <br />MayjJune, published mid to late May, Villas, 5cheuneman Road business district street project, comp <br />plan update, contributions, city clerk profile. <br />New Business <br />Resolution 2018-06 - A Resolution.5upportine Local Decision Making Authoritv <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Linder to approve <br />Resolution 2018-06. Motion passes, Resolution approved.. <br />Pehrson --septic issues/settlement update. Add to the agreement, work needs to be completed by <br />October z; 2018; city can make arrangements to complete. Item tabled till May, 15, 2018, City Council <br />meeting. <br />Resolution 2018-08 -- Willow Lane Elementary School — New PlaVeround Eau imnent <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Lindner,. seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swom ley to approve <br />Resolution 2018-08. Motion passes, Resolution -approved. <br />Resolution 2019-09 — Assessment Approval for 5cheuneman Road Pro iect (buslness district] <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Artig-Swomley, seconded by Councilmember Lindner to approve <br />Resolution 2018&09 with the additional of period of 15 years, (paragraph 2j; interest rate not to exceed <br />7%. Motion passes, Resolution approved. <br />Resolution 2018-12 Resolution for Hearing on the Proposed Assessment - 5cheuneman Road Proiect <br />A motion was made byCouncilmember Lindner, seconded by Councilmern ber Artig-Swo m ley to hold an <br />assessment hearing for the 5cheuneman Road.. project.
