Description of Request: <br />Emily and I are requesting a permit to build an accessory building on.our property. The building <br />would be 32' wide by 68' long.by 25' tall (2176 sq.ft) and would include a bonus room above. It <br />would be. located near the. back of our property and 320' from the street. We intend to use the <br />garage to store our cars and boat as well. as support:our hobbies including woodworking. <br />Currently, we have two vehicles parked outside due to the small size of our current garage and <br />those vehicles would now have a place inside to park. Also, we intend to ru.n gas and electric <br />utilities so that we can heat the garage, while also roughing in sewer and water. <br />In planning for the garage construction;.we have picked Iauilding materials and colors that we <br />intend to use on a home renovation following.the completion of the project. <br />The location we have picked for the garage is directly adjacent from our heighbor's.garage to <br />the north, maintains all. required setbacks, is 320 feet from the street, and does not require: <br />removal of any vegetation because. the location is currently open yard space., Also, the location <br />is 8 feet higher in elevation than our home; is not at risk of flooding, and would not cause a <br />negative impact on drainage or erasion. <br />Schedule. <br />' We intend to break ground duringthe summer of 2022.. with a.goaI of completing construction <br />the fall of 20.23.
