.City.of Gem Lake, NIN <br />Resolution No. 2022-009 <br />April 19,.2022 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE. CITY TO ADOPT A PREVAZ WG WAGE <br />ORDINANCE <br />WHEREAS, the City -of. Gem. Lake feels it -is in the-ppblic. interest that all publ o buildings and city <br />construction projects be-dono by the.bestmeans and with. the highest quality labor.reasonably available; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Genii Lake policy is that wages of laborers, workers and*.mechanics on <br />contracted projects financed in whole.by City funds should be comparable t6 wages paid by for similar <br />work-in the community as a whole; <br />WHEREAS, the. City of Gerry Lake City Council submitted a proposed prevailing wage Ordinance to the <br />City Council at the April 19, 2022 meeting; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Gem Lake, Minnesota; adopts said <br />Ordinance. <br />The motion for adoption -of the foregoing Resolution.was duly introduced by..Councilmember Lindner. and <br />:seconded by Counc ilmbmber Cacioppo, and upon vote being taken thereon, the Resolution passed with a <br />vote of 5 in favor and 0.4gainst. <br />ATTEST <br />I, Melissa Lawrence, the duly qualified Acting City Clerk:of the City of.
