WATER GREMLIN PUBLIC HEALTH ASSESSMENT: PUBLIC COM-MENT DRAFT <br />• M D H will continue to monitor new toxicological information to ensure MDH's t-DCE inhalation Risk. <br />Assessment Advice is protective. <br />• MDH may consider a reanalysis. of Minnesota Cancer Reporting System data or other data in the <br />future (e.g.,10yea rs).ifthe situation warrants and.community interest remains high. <br />• M D H remains available to. explore and discuss what efforts may be feasible that may help to meet <br />the. goals and objectives of the community in absence of a health study. <br />• In collaboration with local public health departmerits, MDH will continue. review: of elevated blood <br />lead results from routine testing to identify results that may be connected to.Water Gremlin. New <br />legislation enacted in 2021 provides. MD additional funding to conductin-home lead risk <br />assessments for all children in Minnesota with elevated blood lead levels and provides new <br />enforcement. authority for.cases where the lead exposure originates outside of the home. <br />• MDH staff will review the upcoming US EPA cumulative risk assessment guidance.and look for ways <br />to incorporate its concepts to further acknowledge all the factors that may .affect health in a <br />.community. <br />XIII.
