The 201.0 Budget is proposed at $464,873, which is an.9:8,m <br />increase over the 2018 Budget. Major or large changes froze the 20M Budget to. the 2019..Budget <br />are as: follows: <br />• The 2019 budget includes a contingency of'$1D;OOq compared to $b in 2018. <br />■ Elections budget increased $1,800 based on contract with Ramsey Cat <br />inty Elections, <br />■ The Planning.&. Goning.budget decreased $50;p00 due to the City's Comprehensive PIan <br />update being completed in 2018, <br />o The Police budget was increased to $73,40.0 compared to $64,100 in 2018 based onthe <br />contract with the City of White Bear Lake. <br />■ The City's fire contract with the City of White Bear Lake was increased 28.01% to 21,825. <br />a Building Inspections was increased $22,569 based on new property development activities <br />and the addition of a part-time inspector, which adds $14,569 to this activity. <br />■ Budgeted $30,25.0 to construct a sidewalk or path alone County Road L. fi-oln LaBore Road <br />to Big Fox. <br />■ Continues to budget $20,000 to help fund future improvement projects. <br />• Building. permit revenues inereased.$5,00.0 to $.15;000 for new development. <br />a The City's fiscal disparities revenue is projected.. to h wrease. 19`.14% to $11;858. <br />■ Based on the.proposed 2019 expenditures and other revenues, to maintain a balanced budget <br />the 20I9 property tax leery is proposed to.inarease �1.289%. to 395,088. <br />■ The C ty-s Debt Levy is based on .the band payments due in 20.19.
