City of Gem Lake <br />Planning Commission Meeting — :tune 14,2022. <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Planning Commission Member Joshua Patrick called the meeting to dMdr at 7:00 ph. Commission Members <br />Derek Wippich, A R-att and Stephanie Farrell were present. Commission Chair Dart Cummings was not <br />present. Voice vote taken, all Voted yes, motion passes; agenda accepted.. <br />Minutes <br />A motion was made by Commission Member Wippich, seconded by Commission 1blemiler Farrell to approve <br />the April 12, 2022, .Planning Commission .meeting. minutes. Voice v6te taken, all in favor,motion passes,. <br />minutes are approved. <br />New Business <br />Final Revietiv of 2040 Comprehensive Plan <br />City Planner Evan Monson discussed the 2040 Comprehensive Plan with the Commission and made mention <br />,of Section 14.of he:plan.-lie feels: ihat.these are going to. be important in the following years when the City <br />begins to implemetit.the plan. <br />Commission Chair Don Cummings sent an email on points he. had regarding the plan and. he wanted to stress <br />that everyone.should. be .on the same page and be.ready for any proposals or attempts that may..come to <br />"deconstruet''the City'.s goals. A good example Commission Chair Cummings. asked Evan to mention was on <br />the 39.unit apartment building in Mahtomedi and how it contradictod.many of.their Ordinances. <br />Commission Member. Wippich introduced a motion recommending C.ity.Copndil adopt. the 2040 <br />!Comprehensive Plan, seconded by Commission Nlember Pratt. All in favor,.motion passes, recommendation <br />will be sent to. City Council. <br />Future: Meetings <br />City.Council Meeting, Tuesday June.21, 2022 at.
