MEMORANDUM <br />TO: <br />CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />FROM: <br />MIKE JOHNSON, BUILDING OFFICIAL <br />DATE: <br />AUGUST 14, 2018 <br />RE: <br />SKETCH PLAN REVIEW HONEY BEAR MEADERY <br />After reviewing the proposed floor layout for Honey Bear Meadery, 15.95 County <br />Road E E, Gem Lake,. I offer the following comments: <br />• The Honey Bear Meadery proposal requires a change in building <br />occupancy from a general business/retail use (as is existing currently) to <br />an assemble/gathering type use. This proposed change in use requires <br />the facility to meet. all current building code requirements. <br />■ The sketch plan depicts an occupant load of 49 occupants using fixed. <br />fir• seating. A more detailed seating plan shall be submitted to the Met <br />Council for SAC (sewer availability charge) determination. <br />• ❑etailed construction documents shall be submitted to the Gem Lake: <br />`E3uiIding.Department for permitting and review. <br />Review and approval. from. the Ramsey County Health Department is <br />required. <br />• Detail plumbing plans shall be submitted to the Department of Labor and <br />industry for review and approvals. <br />
