The fire sprinkler system .(if required) shall be installed compliant with provisions <br />of 2010 NFPA Standard 13, Installation of Sprinkler Systems. City permit <br />required prior to initiation of work. <br />2. The fire alarm system (if required) shall tie installed compliant with provisions of <br />2010 NFPA Standard 72, National Fire Alarm Code. City permit required prior to <br />initiation of work. <br />3. Fire Department sprinkler connection location to be approved. priorto installation <br />.and must be within 1 00' of a fire hydrant. <br />4. Install emergency egress illumination in the means of egress including exit <br />discharge compliant with 2015 MSFC. <br />5. Install compliant exit signage as required bythe 2015 MSFC.. <br />6. Provide and install dry chemical fire extinguishers certified for service and tagged <br />as required. Service classification rating shall be -a. minimum 2A classification <br />rating and maximum travel distance of 75 feet to extinguishers. The minimum <br />classification rating may be upgraded for special or extra hazard areas within the <br />occupancy. <br />7. Provide information conceming combustible. interior finish materials used for this <br />project. Interior finish materials shall be classified as required by 2015 MSFC as <br />to flame spread and smoke development characteristics.. Interior wall and ceiling <br />finish shall have aflame spread index not greater than that specified in 2015 <br />MSFC for the group of proposed occupancy and location of interior finish. Please <br />furnish product specification sheets listing this information. <br />8.. The required fire -resistance rating of rated construction shall be rnaintained. <br />Openings through rated construction for the passage of wiring, sleeves, conduit, <br />piping, etc. shall.be protected by repair with approved materials which maintains <br />the rating of the construction. damaged, altered; breeched or penetrated. <br />9. Rooms containing controls for air-conditioning systems, sprinkler risers and <br />valve.., or other fire detection, suppression or control elements shall. be identified <br />for the use of the fire department. Approved signs required to identify fire <br />protection equipment. and equipment location, shall be constructed of durable <br />materials, permanently installed and readily visible.. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
