CIP <br />Preliminary discussion with Met Council yielded vague responses, however, the Met Council was willing <br />to. find out what is most important to the City of Gem make, and what the City wants. The Met Councit did <br />express that as the market forces make their way into Gem lake, as seen with. the proposed <br />developments.. along County Road E,based on their policies and requirements,. any hew residential <br />developments will need to be 5-units per acre. <br />Based on the discussions with both the City Council and the Met. Council, .we haVa limited :our. scope of <br />work to provide only a few technical sections as well as provide guidance or assistance to. the CRy on the <br />remainder of the plan sections as needed. SEH. will complete sections B, 7, 9, and 12. The City.will be.. <br />complete sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10 and 11 with. SEH ss an advisory role. <br />Not included in.thiis. proposal are. any revisions to comments from Met Council or Amendments .to the Final <br />Plan .as submitted on December 31., 20.18: These will be.billed. on an.hourly basis; as.needed. <br />Timeliness: in completing the Plan is based upon the City completing the land use section no later than <br />March 1, 2017: If it is not completed by then,.completion of the sections assigned to SEH will be delayed; <br />Should the City request SEH to lead the completion of any of the sections that: the City has agreed to <br />complete, we will negotiate a. contract amendment. <br />COMPENSATION. <br />Based. on our understanding af.the project and scope of services,: SEH proposes to complete this work 'for <br />$77,880. Additional detailsare shown in.the attached task hour budget. SEH will not exceed this amount <br />without:prior authorization from the City, Compensation for the services will be made on an hourly basis <br />plus cost of reimbursable expenses. <br />SCHEDULE <br />We anticipate starting our services upon your authorization and following the schedule outline below: <br />Council approves contract <br />February 1, 2017 <br />City Completes.
