CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4, City Hall - 4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110 <br />RESOLUTION NO.2017-20 <br />21 NOVEMBER 2017 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br />AND FINAL AMOUNT TO:BE RAISED BY PROPERTY TAXATION <br />FOR THE YEAR 2018 <br />WHEREAS; the City Treasurer has presented a TOTAL (Proposed) Budget of <br />M,247.00 which includes a General. Tax Levy of $369,252.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of <br />$84,190.00 for fiscal arid. calendar year. 2018 based. upon best estimates of costs for <br />running the City of Gem Lake in 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the City.CounciI did review, on November 21, 2417, the TOTAL Budget <br />and Tax. Levy for 2018 including all revisions thereto as of the date `first written.. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City.Council. of the City of Gem <br />Lake does formally adopt the 2018 Final General Fund Budget of $423,247100 and the <br />Final Property Tax Levy of $453,651.00 which includes a General Tax Levy of <br />$369,252.00 and a Debt Levy of $84,399.M for 2018 as prepared by the City Treasurer <br />and amended by the City Council; <br />BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged. with Certifying said. Tax <br />and Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for <br />whom this information is required. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor and was.supported by <br />Councilor and was declared atlaptetl based upon the following vote: <br />NAME UZPEN LINDNER.
