SEH <br />City Planning Area Policies <br />Beyond Gem Lake's general land development.policies, an additional set of policies has <br />been established to more clearly delineate -the type of development which is to be. <br />encouraged within the various "Planning Areas;" (refer to Figure Z -.Future Land Use <br />Map for details of these areas) The policies listed below are preceded by a Brief <br />description.of.existing conditions in each planning area, <br />Gem Lake Gateway and Village Center Special Planning Area (Mixed use) <br />The Gateway and Village Center planning areas in the City of Gem Lake are broken up <br />into five specific land: areas,:defined as follows; <br />• The southeast corner of US.
