City of Gem Lake, MN <br />Resolution No. 2017-02 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A <br />PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO WILLOW LANE ELEMENTRY <br />SCHOOL. <br />WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds <br />from the Country Lounge, <br />WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local schools and charities, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Treasurer is authorized to send to Willow Lane <br />Elementary School the amount of $3200.00 for the cities contribution for the year 2017 <br />with instructions to give $200.00 to each classroom teacher to be used for school supplies <br />or books for their room libraries. <br />WHEREUPON, the above resolution was adopted at the May 18th regular City Council <br />Meeting for the City of Gem Lake, Ramsey County Minnesota, made by Councilmember <br />Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley. <br />ATTEST <br />I, William Short, the duly qualified City Clerk of the City of Gem Lake, County of <br />Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution is a true and <br />accurate representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on <br />the date first written. <br />Pillia&mS<hort,City Clerk <br />Si il/ 11 <br />Date <br />
