(3) .An .owner of a SST -S must retain a licensed installation business to abandon all <br />components of the treatment .system within sixty (60) calendar days of discontinued. use. <br />Abandonment.shall.bc completed in accordance with Minnesota Rules, Chapter 7080.2500. No <br />prior notification to the Department. of an owner's intent to abandon a system is necessary. <br />(4) A report ofabandonment certified by the licensed installation business shall be <br />submitted to the. Department: .The report.shall include:. <br />a. Owner's name, mailing address, telephone nurnber, and e-mail address, <br />b. Property address <br />c: System construction permit and operating permit. <br />d. The reason(s). for abandonment <br />e. A brief description of the abandonment .methods used, description of the System <br />components remo.Ved:or abandoncd.in.place,. and .disposition of any mated als:or residuals. <br />(c) Abandonment Certificate <br />Upon.reeeipt of an abandonment .report and its determination that. the SSTS has been: <br />6bandoned according to the requirements of this Ordinance, the Department shall issue.: an <br />abandonment wrtificate. If the abandonmentis not completed according the requireincnts of this <br />Ordinance the City shall :notify the owner of the SSTS of the defieicncies,. which shallbe <br />corrected Within thirty (3:0) calendar days Of the notice: <br />Sec. 25 MANAGEMENT PLANS <br />(a) PURPOSE <br />The purpose. of management plans is tp describe how. a particular SSTS is intended to. be <br />operated and maintained to sustain the performance required.
