BUDGET AND FINAL AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 20.1.7 WHEREAS, the. City Treasurer has presented a TOTAL (Proposed) Budget of $419,976:00 which includes a General. Tax Levy of $3 63,294.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $75,987.00 for fiscal. and calendar year 2017 based upon best estimates of costs for running the'City of Gem.. Lake in 2017; and WHEREAS, the. City Council did review, on November 15, 2016, the TOTAL Budget and Tax Levy for 2017 including all revisions thereto as of the date first written: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED; that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake. does formally adopt the 20:17 Final General Fund. Budget of $419,976.00 and the Final. Property Tax Levy of $43.9,281.00 which includes a General Tax Levy of $363,294.00 and a Debt Levy'of $75,987.00 for 2017 as prepared by the City Treasurer and amended by the City Council; BE IT FURTHER;RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged. with Certifying said Tax and Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other. government bodies for whom this information is required.
