CLERK CALLED THE ROLL - <br />PRESENT - HOFFMAN, HANSEN, ARCArm, MORGAN, and D.HOFFMA!i <br />also Martha Daniel& and Ray Tessier. <br />ABSENT - JOHN GRAY. <br />3. CLERK READ THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER <br />18th 1961, -Moved by ARCAND AND SECONDED BY HANSEN THAT SAME <br />BE AND ARE APPROVED AS READ. ALL AYES. <br />4. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR -NONE. <br />5. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES - <br />a. The clerk reported for Bemis that a code booklet and <br />standard codes had been secured from the Midwest Planning <br />and Research. <br />b. The clerk reported for Bemis that the Clerk and Bemis had <br />attended a meeting at Gall+s school on October llth at what <br />will be called the Lake Area Planning Com, consisting of <br />six units in i.is school district.It will meet the second <br />Wednesday in each month to provideii a planning clearing house. <br />We will be asked to appoint by resolution a member of our <br />planning com. and a member of the council to attend. <br />6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - <br />a. EILEEN BIGELOW HAS E,CCEPTED THE POSITION OF CIVIL DEFENSE <br />DIRECTOR. <br />7. NEW BUSINESS - <br />a. The village election will be held on Tuesday November $th, <br />and it was decid&d that the hours could be reasonably reduced <br />in which the polls stay open.
