City of Gem Lake, IVIN <br />Resolution No. 2019-004 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A <br />PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO NEW TRAX, INC. A <br />TRANSPORTATION PROGRAKFOR SENIORS,AND-PEOPLE,-WITH <br />DISABILITIES. <br />WHEREAS, The City of Gem' Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds <br />from the Country Lounge; <br />WHEREAS, The City -of Gem. Lake 'distributes -these funds -to local schools and charities, <br />WHEREAS, th4t1ho. City Treasurer is authorized`to send to NewTirax, Inc,, the amount of <br />$500.00 for the City of Gem Lake's contribution for the year to be used far their <br />transportation program for seniors. and peopid Vith disabilities. <br />NOW, THERtFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that.the City Co-pncil of Cxem Y.ake approves <br />the donation of $500.00 to NewTrax, Inc. <br />The motion of the-0option of -the foNgoing Resolution was offered by Councilor — and <br />was supported*by Councilor --- and was declared adopted based upon the following vote: <br />ATTEST <br />I, Gloria Tessier, the duly qualified Acting City Clerk of the City of Gem Lake, County <br />of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby -'certify thatthe foregoing resolution is a true <br />andaccurate representation of action taken'.by the City Council of the: City of Gem Lake <br />on the date first written.. <br />Gloria Tessier, Acting City Clerk Date <br />
