Everything in the building
shut down including the computers. This was somewhat odd. On Thursday, March 12, I
received a call from Metro-INET indicating they were going to send someone out to look at the
main server in the building. When the individual came out, we discovered that the system
doesn’t have an Uninterrupted Power Supply attached to the current equipment. After looking
at the system, he was suggesting a unit that would be in the equipment rack instead of sitting
on the floor. The quotes will be coming from Metro-INET by Tuesday, and I will forward these
one.

The HP 755 Multi-Function Printer is approximately 10-12 years old. With the recent amount of
scanning that is taking place, the intake roller is deteriorating as well as a few other issues. I am
asking for input from the City Council regarding the direction of purchasing a new desktop
copier. Would you prefer to purchase or lease desktop a copier?
