CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN - <br />4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail Cite a <br />Minutes of Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />18 December 2012 <br />The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Gem Lake was called to order by <br />Mayor Uzpen on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Gem Lake City Hall <br />meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Robert Uzpen. Councilmembers James <br />Lindner, Gretchen Artig-Swomley, Thomas Rasmussen and Councilmember Richard <br />Bosak. Members of the public attending per the sign in sheet sent around the room. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />City Council Agenda: Mayor Uzpen called for additions, deletions and corrections to <br />the agenda. Upon motion by Councilmember Rasmussen, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley, the December 18, 2012 agenda was approved. Ayes — <br />5, Nays — 0. <br />City Council November Meeting Minutes: The November 2012 minutes were <br />presented and corrections were needed. Upon motion by Councilmember Artig- <br />Swomley, and seconded by Councilmember Bosak, the November City Council minutes <br />were accepted. Ayes — 5, Nays — 0. <br />Planning Commission October Meeting Minutes: The October Planning <br />Commission meeting minutes were presented and no corrections were needed. Upon <br />motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley and seconded by Councilmember Bosak, the <br />October Planning Commission minutes were approved. Ayes — 5, Nays — 0. <br />Planning Commission November Meeting Minutes: The November Planning <br />Commission minutes were tabled. <br />Planning Commission Chair Report: Planning Commission Chairperson Faith Kuny <br />presented to the City Council the status regarding the revision of the Residential Zoning <br />District. The December Planning Commission was cancelled, as they did not have a <br />quorum. Attorney Pat Kelly was present so they had an informal meeting. Chairperson <br />Kuny stated the map of Gem Lake in the Comp Plan are not accurate. It was suggested <br />to not use abbreviations. There are a few places in the Comp Plan where the land <br />range is listed. Attorney Kelly stated not to use numbers. Page 18 states 5-acre lots for <br />
