Where such a building is extended, a clean out shall be provided immediately inside the <br />rear wall of the front building. <br />Section 10.12 Repair Of Public Right -Of -Way <br />Section 10.12.1 For each connection permit issued, a deposit of five hundred dollars <br />($500.00) shall be paid to the City Clerk, for restoration of public right-of-way before <br />starting of the project. This deposit will be returned upon satisfactory completion of the <br />connection. Forfeiture of the deposit does not exonerate the permit holder from <br />satisfactory completion of the work. <br />Section 10.13 Costs And Expenses For Installation And Connection <br />Section 10.13.1 All costs and expenses incident to the installation and connection to the <br />Municipal Sanitary Sewer System shall be borne by the owner. The owner shall <br />indemnify the City of Gem Lake for any loss or damage that may directly or indirectly be <br />occasioned by the installation of the sewer connection, including the restoring of streets <br />and street surface. <br />SECTION 11 VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES <br />Section 11.1 The City of Gem Lake shall have the right to enforce all sections of this <br />Ordinance by injunction or by any other legal remedy, including the right to prohibit the <br />use of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer System by a person violating or operating contrary <br />to these provisions. <br />Section 11.2 Any person, firm, corporation or voluntary association which violates or <br />refuses to comply with any of the pro visions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof be subject to a find of not more than One <br />Hundred Dollars ( $100.00) and cost for every offense or to imprisonment not exceeding <br />ninety (90) days. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate <br />offense. <br />SECTION 12 APPEALS <br />Section 12.1 Application. Application to appeal a sewer bill shall be made on forms <br />provided by the City Clerk, who shall forward completed applications that include the <br />required information to the City Council, which shall act as the Board of Appeals for <br />review. <br />Section 12.2 Deadline for Application. Appeals must be made in writing and submitted <br />to the City Clerk within 15 business days of the date the sewer bill was placed in the <br />United States Mail by the City. <br />
