RESOLUTION NO.2013 - 06 <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY .41 ACRES <br />OF LAND PURSUANT TO CITIZENS PETITION SIGNED BY JOHN BIRKELAND, <br />DARLENE J. BIRKELAND, AND DLW PROPERTIES, LLC, A MINNESOTA LIMITIED <br />LIABILITY COMPANY IDENTIFED AS PARCELS LOCATED IN SECTION 34, <br />TOWNSHIP 30 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST WHOSE LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS ARE <br />SHOWN ON EXHIBIT A ATTACHED HERETO, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Gem Lake, by this Resolution desire to acknowledge its <br />support pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 414.061, Subd. 5 of Annexation to the City of Gem Lake of <br />certain real property identified on Exhibit A attached hereto. <br />The City Council has been notified that all of the property owners have requested <br />Annexation to the City of Gem Lake, <br />1) By this Resolution, the City Council hereby indicates its support for said Annexation <br />to City of Gem Lake. <br />2) The City intends to participate in any and all hearings regarding these issues. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was made <br />by and seconded by with votes in favor <br />and votes in opposition. <br />Dated: 2013 <br />William Short, City Clerk <br />
