CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />41 4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, MN 55110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail Citv(a�semlakelVlN.or <br />Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting <br />6 March 2012 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Chairperson Faith Kuny on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 7:02 p.m. at the <br />Gem Lake City Hall conference room. <br />The following members were present: Chairperson Faith Kuny, and Planning <br />Commissioners Arthur Pratt, Dan Marier, and Beth Herzog. Commissioner <br />Derrick Wippich was not in attendance. <br />Planning Commission March Agenda: Chairperson Kuny asked for any <br />changes, deletions, or added agenda items. None was given and upon motion <br />by Commissioner Herzog and seconded by Commissioner Pratt; the March 6, <br />2012 agenda was approved. Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />February Planning Commission Minutes: The February Planning Commission <br />minutes were reviewed and upon motion by Commissioner Pratt and seconded <br />by Commissioner Herzog, the February minutes were approved. <br />Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Sample Binder for Planning Commission: Chairperson Kuny had a sample of <br />the Policy Manual, Rules of Open Law, Policy and Procedure sheet, Gateway <br />Ordinance and Zoning Ordinance. It was decided to have one copy on desk for <br />all Planning Commission meetings and then to have a copy at each residence to <br />have for reference if any of them receive any calls at home. <br />Also copies were requested for all members of the Planning Commission for the <br />current Comp Plan. <br />March Workshop Meeting: Mr. Tom Hansen will be present at the workshop on <br />March 12, 2012 to have an informal discussion regarding their property. In <br />addition. there will be another informal meeting with Mr. Jim McNulty at 1p.m. on <br />Wednesday, March 14t". Another issue to bring up is the run-off that is draining <br />into Willow Lake. It was discussed whether Gem Lake needs to have a green <br />space law for developments. <br />
