CITY OF GEM LAKE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 113 <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE HUNTING ON PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN <br />THE CITY OF GEM LAKE, MINNESOTA. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEM LAKE ORDAINS: <br />Hunting with or discharging any firearm, including a rifle, shotgun, air gun, air rifle, pellet <br />gun or BB gun, and bow and arrow is prohibited within the city limits except with a permit issued by <br />the City Council. The City Council may issue permits authorizing temporary deer hunting with bow <br />and arrow. Said permit shall be issued only during the deer season for bow and arrow, or as <br />authorized by the State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources and shall only be issued to <br />those who have written consent from the property owner on a form approved by the City. The permit <br />fee shall be set forth by City Council resolution. The City Council may limit hunting areas to protect <br />the public safety and welfare. <br />SEVERABILITY.: Should any section, subdivision, clause or other provision of this Ordinance <br />be held to be invalid in any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity <br />of the Ordinance as a whole, or of any part hereof, other than the part held to be invalid. <br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
