CITY OF GEM LAKE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 125 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF GEM LAKE TO REPLACE SECTIONS 21 AND 22 RELATING TO GEM LAKE WATERS, WETLANDS, SHORELANDS, EROSION CONTROL AND STORMWATER MANAGEMENT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEM LAKE ORDAINS: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 3.2 of Ordinance 43K (Definitions) is amended, as follows (deleted text s#fue-1thfetigh, new text underlilied): ALTERATION OR ALTER — When used in connection with public waters or wetlands is any activity that will change or diminish the course, current or cross- section of public waters or wetlands. BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES OR BMPS — Techniques proven to be effective in controlling runoff, erosion and sedimentation including those documented in the Minnesota Construction Site Erosion and Sediment Control Planning Handbook (BWSR, 1988); Protecting Water Quality in Urban Areas (MPCA, 2000); the Minnesota Urban Small Sites BMP Manual (Metropolitan Council 2001); Minnesota Stormwater Manual (MPCA, 2005); and other sources as approved by the VLAWMO: as such documents may be amended, revised or supplemented.
