CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN (P <br />4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, Minnesota 55110 <br />RESOLUTION NO.2012-06 <br />21 AUGUST 2011 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY <br />PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2013 <br />WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has presented a (Proposed) General Fund Budget of $368,994.00 <br />which includes a (Proposed) General Tax Levy of $312,996.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $52,000.00 <br />for fiscal and calendar year 2013 based upon best estimates of costs for running the City of Gem <br />Lake in 2013; and <br />WHEREAS, these estimates were reviewed by the City Council on 21 August, 2012 and amended <br />based upon best information received from outside contractors and input from the City Council, and <br />revised by the City Council on 21 August, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did review the (Proposed) Budget and Tax Debt for 2013, including <br />all revisions thereto as of the date first written. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does <br />formally adopt the 2013 Preliminary General Fund Budget of $368,994.00 which includes a <br />Preliminary General Tax Levy of $312,996.00 and a Preliminary Debt Levy of $52,000.00 for 2013 <br />as prepared by the City Treasurer and amended by the City Council; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and Debt <br />Levy to Ramsey County Property Taxation and other government bodies for whom this information <br />is required. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor and was supported by <br />Councilor and was declared adopted based upon the following vote: <br />NAME <br />UZPEN <br />BOSAK <br />[L <br />Vote <br />Attest <br />INDNER RASMUSSEN ARTIG- <br />SWOMLEY <br />I, WILLL4 M F.
