CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-06 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />WITH KODIAK POWER SOLUTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION <br />OF A GENERATOR WITH REMOTE MONITORING FOR HERITAGE HALL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Emergency Management has suggested that all cities install a <br />generator at one of their buildings for emergency purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake has received two bids for the purchase and installation of a <br />generator at Heritage Hall; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake reviewed the bids and decided to go with Kodiak Power <br />Solutions with the option of the generator remote monitoring. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake, <br />Minnesota, Authorizes the City Clerk to enter into a contract with Kodiak Power Solutions for <br />the purchase and installation of a generator with remote monitoring for Heritage Hall. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember <br />Patrick and supported by Councilmember Lindner, and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />resolution passed with a vote of 5 in favor and 0 against. <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />I, Barbara Suciu, the duly qualified City Clerk of the City of Gem Lake, County of Ramsey, <br />State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a true and accurate <br />representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on the date first <br />written. <br /> <br /> February 17, 2026 <br />Barbara Suciu, City Clerk Date <br /> <br />
