Resolution Adopting the Preliminary Amount to Be Raised by Property Taxation <br />for the Year 2010 -- Attached for your review and consideration is a resolution adopting <br />the preliminary amount to be raised through property taxes for 2010. This would be the <br />maximum amount that must be certified to Ramsey County by September 15, 2009. <br />2010 Preliminary Budget and Property Tax. Levy <br />I have attached information on the 2010 Preliminary. General Fund Budget in numerical <br />and graphical formats. Also included is information and calculations on the projected <br />impact of the preliminary tax levy and tax capacity rates. I have provided comparisons <br />of what would happen to certain valued properties if the had no change in value or if <br />they had a 4.6% decrease in value (using the projected decrease in the City's tax <br />capacity base). <br />Action requested is to adopt Resolution No. 2009-XX - Resolution Adopting the <br />Preliminary Amount to Be Raised by Property Taxation for the Year 2010 and direct the <br />Treasure to submit all required paperwork to Ramsey County to certify the preliminary <br />2010 maximum property tax levy for the City of Gem Lake by September 15, 2009.. <br />
