The Planning Commission discussed the recent events in
May Township and the possible implications for Gem Lake.
The Planning Commission discussed the easiest and least expensive route for
the City of Gem Lake would be to add the truck gardening section that exists in
the residential code to the Gateway Zone.
It was noted that Mr. Tom Hansen paid the one time rezoning fee. The
Commission discussed refunding his money if the policy or fees were changed.
One implication of changing the ordinance would be the elimination of regulated
working hours for the gardening section.
