Once the subcontractor and Lund Martin looked at the building in place it was determined that a batt insulation or a blown -in insulation at the roof line in Room 101, 102, 103, 104, and 106 could not achieve a vapor barrier seal because of the framing members at the trusses, roof line- gussets, etc., the need to switch back to the spray polyurethane was decided. This cost issue is to add back in the spray polyurethane at the roof line as per original scope of work in the contract documents. It was also determined during this process that there was not a hard surface or another'containment' product in place to allow the blown -in insulation above the ceiling grid/tile portions of the interior. The second item is to provide netting to support this blown -in insulation to stay in place.
