ONGOING .CIVIC <br />CONTRIBUTION OF TOUSLEY FORD, IT'S OWNERSHIP; AND IT'S <br />EMRLOYEES TO THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF GEM LAKE. <br />WHCRXAS, therfounding fathers ofthe-City of Gem Lake made a commitment to.the residential and commercial citizens <br />,of Gem Lake to. maintain a. small town environment; and <br />WHEREAS, the elected and. appointed officials of Gem Lake have worked diligently. to preserve our small town <br />environtnent.and quality of life for forty-one years; And <br />WHEREAS, fof tvMity-six years; Tousley Ford and it's ownershio.biwe graciously the without charge or consideration of <br />oonflict with: their own operations allowed the governing .body and citizens of Gem Laker to utilize it's: facilities <br />for public --meetings, elections, and other events: required to.inaintain the City of Gent [;ake;. and <br />WHEREAS, this civic:eontribution by Tousley Ford and it's owners has contributed significantly to the City of Gem Lake's <br />:efforts to maintain small. town government.and the -costs asspeiated with runping.and maintaining the City <br />which odterwise would havee been taxed upon. the citizens; and <br />WHEREAS, the citizens of Gem Lake., their elected officials; and appointed staff vdsh to express their deep appreciation <br />to Tousley Ford,. ift o*fiers, and employedf for twenty=six years of contributions to our community. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br />That. the Mayor and City Council of the City. of Gem Lake do, on behalf of the entire community, liereby <br />gratefully bestow upon the. following.a <br />CQiinmunity Service.Award <br />TOUSLEY FORD <br />Mir.
