CITY OF GEM LAKE, <br />RESOLUTION NO.2004-27 <br />20 December 2004 <br />A RESOLUTION .EMPOWERING THE GEM LAKE CITY' CLERK TO MAKE <br />APPLICATION TO RAMSEY COUNTY ]FOR PARTICIPATION IN FUNDING <br />MADE AVAILABLE AS HERE(NAFTER.KNOWN:ASKSCORE GRANT": <br />WHEREAS, THE City of Gem Lakecurrently operates.a Municipal Curbside Recycling Program. for all singie. <br />family residences within the City; and <br />WI•IEREAS, the Gity*Councii. realizes that increased public awareness, education .and participation in this prograrp is in the best interests of :all citizens. and wishes to expand the current programwithin the administrative. guidelines <br />established for:current City staff;.and <br />WHEREAS, the Division Of .Solid Waste. Of the. St. *Paul-Ranrisey County Department of Public Health has made <br />certain funds available for qualified recycling.programs within Rattise.y County. <br />NOW,. THEREFORE, BE- IT RESOLVED, that the. City Cotitieil ofthe City of Gem. Lake. hereby'em0owers the. <br />Citv. Clerk w apply annually for any and all Score Funding or other such grants as may he made. available from time <br />to time by other agencies for the:sole purposeof* txpandirigg.resident parti <br />Recycling Probram:.:cipation in the:.Gent Lake. Municipal <br />and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,. that said funds shall be used in such a manner as recommended by lbe.
