WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2006-38 passed by the City Council ordie City of Gem Lake on 10.040bec2004, the t'hy Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of completing Public lmplrgvcarlent i'iojecf No. 1006-01, Bijox/i,lttl.eFoxlllaven=Tessier` Street Improvements; and WHEREAS. the City Clerk has notified .the City Council that such proposed assessment has been. completed.and Fled in his ofticL for public. inspection; Now, Therefore. Be It IIEsSOLVED, by the City. Council ofthe City of Gem Lake that; 1. A .public hearing sha.11 be held. at 7:00 PM on Monday, 13 November 200& in the first floor meeting room of 'Fousley Ford, 1493 Fast CountyRoad L, Gem Lake,. Ramsey County, Minnesota 5511t1 to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place ail persons mvning.property affected.by such improvement will be given all opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment: and .. •File City .Clerk is hereby directed to cause. a notice of the hearing on the.prc posed: assessment to be published once it, the official newspaper at least two (2) weeks prior to the public hearing, and.heshall state in the notice tht total cost of the iinprovement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to ttte owner of each parcel described in tile.assesstnerit not less than two. (2.) weeks prior to the public hearing, and 3. 'nic owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to. certification of the assessment to the County AucIitol, pay the whole ofthe.assessment on such.property, with interest accrtred to the date of payment,.to the City Clerk, except that. no interest shall be charged•ifthe entire assessment is paid within thirty (3.0) days from the adoption of the assessment.
