CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP <br />05 DECEMBER 2005 <br />Having been properly published in the White Bear Press on 30 November 2005 as Public Notice No, 2005-24, a <br />Joint Workshop of the. City Council of the City of Gem Lakeand the PlanningCoinmission of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Mayor Emeott on Monday; 05 December 2005, at 6:1.5 PM in the board room of The Nexen Group, 560: Oak <br />Grove Parkway, Vadnais Heights, MN 551 10Mayor Eineott, Councilors Bosak,. Watson and Rasmussen were. present. <br />Chairman Floeschler,Mrs. Robins and Messrs. Lindner, Wippich and Rafferty of the Planning Commission were also <br />present. Also present were .City Clerk Magnuson as recording secretary For a portion of the meeting, Brian Hansen and <br />Mr, McNulty accompaniedby his team of advisors were present. <br />Mr..l-loesctiler. delivered a report regarding progress to date on resolving the Hillary Farm :issues and thoughts on <br />future commercial development. <br />Mr. Magnuson distributed a copy of his Excel email to all present which included final revisions of ail categories <br />identified at the first meetings, He suggested they discuss all projects to determine additional needs and priority i.'ormat.. <br />Discussion of priorities followed. An updated final version will be sent with minutes. <br />Magnuson updated his report on the. Joint Town Hall Project with White Bear Township indicating it is now time <br />to begin meeting with Township representatives Mamnple and Short. <br />Continued discussion of redevelopment ofHoffman .Corners :followed and this continuesto be the nuinber i. priority <br />For all inattendance as it is: clearly a.blight and under utilization 1 nit's current form.
