1 <br />CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2026-01 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #129; <br />SECTION 10; MAINTENANCE OF SERVICE PIPE <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEM LAKE ORDAINS: <br /> <br />Section 10. Maintenance of Service Pipe. It shall be the responsibility of the consumer or <br />owner to maintain the service pipe from the City watermain in the street/boulevard, to the meter <br />inside the house, including the curb box. curb box into the house or building. In the case of <br />failure upon the part of any consumer or owner to repair any leak occurring in the pipe within <br />twenty-four (24) hours after verbal or written notice by the City thereof, the water will be shut <br />off. When the waste of water is great, or when damage is likely to result from the leak, water <br />may be turned off immediately pending repairs. <br /> <br />Section 2. Severability. Should any section, subdivision, clause, or other provision of this <br />Ordinance be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not <br />affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or of any part thereof, other than the part held to <br />be invalid. <br />Section 3. Effective Date.
