CITY OF GEM LAKE RESOLUTION NO. 94-12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gem Lake wishes to comply with the Truth In Taxation Laws of the State of Minnesota,:and WHEREAS, compliance With said laws: requires a public hearing to be: scheduled and held on said scheduled date to hear public comments on proposed City budgets and property tax levies' by the City, and WHEREAS, said levies shall truthfully reflect the City's projected revenue needs for fiscal year 1995 in accordance with the City's 19:95 budget, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gem Lake did convene at it's regular meeting on 08 August 1994 to discuss said budget and levies; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City :Council of the City of Gem Lake does hereby .empower the City Clerkto establish a 1995 final City Budget of ninety-two thousand four -hundred ($92,4.00) dollars which includes .eighty--f.our thousand ($.84:, 000) dollars of regular tax revenues and eighty-four hundred ($.8.,40)) dollars of HACA, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said amount be reported to the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation and Records, Revenue Division - Tax Accounting Department for purposes of public record, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Truth -In -Taxation Public Hearing shall be held at 7:00 p.m. on. 8 December 1994 in the first floor meeting room of Tousley Ford located at 1493 County Road E East in the City of Gem Lake to hear public comment on the City's proposed 19.95 budget and property tax levy with a continuation date of 14 December 1994 for additional comment, should it. be .neces:sary, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall place in the City's legal publication all such notices as shall be required to comply with the Truth -In -Taxation Laws.
