CITY O.F *GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO.2002-09 <br />17 June-2002 <br />WHEREAS'. the Minnesota. Department of Transportation and Ramsey County have.entered into a Memorandum of <br />Understanding which provides for the consolidation of roadway jyrisdictions in Ramsey County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Memorandum ofUitderstanding includes a. consolidation plan, prepared in conjunction with municipalities of <br />Ramsey Cnunty;.and <br />WHIREA$,; the consolidation plan provides for the turn back of State Trunk Highway 244 from Trunk= Highway 61 to Trunk <br />Higliway 116; and <br />WHEREAS. Ramsey County intends to accept.the jurisdictional chanaeba or about June 28, 2002, and will place the2.525.mile <br />segmenton die County State Aid .Highway.systetn. <br />RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Gem Lake concurs with the establishment and designation of the turnback segment <br />.of %-ii.e Highway 244 from Trunk Highway G l to Trunk Highway 120 as.a County State.Aid Fligliway (CSAH) in Ramsey County <br />under provisions of Minnesota Law, subject to.theapproval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State.of.Minnesota; <br />and <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that the-Chy Clerk is hereby authorized and.directed.to for►vard two certified copies of this, resolution <br />to the Co►liniissioner of Transportation of The State of Mimiesota:.and upon his approval of the designation of the sat'.d roadway <br />or portion thereof, that, the same be constructed;. improved, and. maintained.as a County State. Aid High%Vay in.
