CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION ,NO:1002-11 <br />18 Novethbeir2002 <br />Y A RESOLUTION EMPOWERING THE GEM LAKE CITY CLERK TO MAKE <br />APPLICATION TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR :PARTICIPATION IN FUNDING <br />MADE AVAILABLE AS HEREINAFTER KNOWN AS "SCORE GRANT". <br />WHEREAS, THE City of Gem Lake currently operates a Municipal Curbside. Recycling Program for all single <br />family residences within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council realizes that increasedlpublic awareness, education and. participation in this program <br />is in the best interests of all: citizens and wishes to.:expand the current program Within the admin.istrative.guide.lines <br />established for current City staff -,.and <br />WHEREAS,, the Division'of Solid Waste of the St. Paui-Ramsey County. Department Of Public Health teas made <br />certain funds available for qualified recycling programs'within Ramsey County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, 81: IT RESOLVED, that tht: City Council of the City of Genf Lake hereby empowers the <br />City Clerk to apply annually for any and all Score Funding or other such grants as. play be,. made available from time <br />to time by other agencies for the sole purpose -of expanding resident participation in the, Gem Lake.
