It's anticipated that nearly $548,600 could be collected at a future date through connection charges or deferred assessments when sewer and water service is available to the areas. Conclusions and Recommendations This project is feasible from and engineering standpoint. The project is necessary to address the needs of the area for improved sanitary sewer and water service, and street improvements. This project is a cost effective means to address the needs of the area. Based on finding of this report, discussions with the City of Gem Lake, we recommend the following course of action for the City of Gem Lake: • This report is accepted as the feasibility report for the herein described project. • A Public Hearing is held to discuss the proposed improvements and assessments. • The City evaluates the future of sanitary sewer and water service to these areas.
