The Clerk then presented the 2005 Annual Financial Report as prepared by Smith Schafer, including the report <br />submitted to the State Auditor as required by law. Following discussion, Motion by Watson, Second by Bosak to accept <br />the 2005 Annual Financial Report as prepared by Smith Schafer was unanimously approved and a summary of sane is <br />hereby ordered for publication. <br />Magnuson then discussed potential pursuit of securing a one-half (0.005 or'/2%) percent sales tax during the 2007 <br />legislative session. In order to proceed, we need to begin now to have a complete capital plan ready by the fall. This <br />would also require us to identify grants to be sought to support the plan as well. Consensus was to proceed with getting <br />all necessary information to commence the process in the fall. <br />The next meeting of the Gem Lake City Council is scheduled for 15 May 2006. Additional public hearings are <br />scheduled for Monday, 24 April 2006 for business residents.
