MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM: PRESCRIBING RATES AND CHARGES FOR SEWAGE DISPO- SAL SERVICES: PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS FOR AND SUPERVISION DE ALL CONNECTIONS TO THE MUNICIPAL SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM: PRESCRIBING CERTAIN MATERIALS AND METHODS TO BE USED FOR SAID CONNECTIONS: PROVID- ING FOR LICENSING OF SEWER CONTRACTORS: AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE. The City Council of the City of Gem Lame does ordain: SECTION 1 REPEAL OF OTHER CITY ORDINANCES This Ordinance shall replace Ordinances # 15, ;'s and 32A of the City of Gem Lake. In such event, the char^ge for waste discharge of this user, shall be established by resolution of the City Pour:C'i.l 6 Section 4.11 Strerdth charges for Z"rdustrial users 1) The Metropolitan .Wa .t:e Cc•n.trc+1 Ccrrnrnissi.ctr► (MWCC) has imposed a. indUstr al user sewer strength charge upc+rs risers of the Metropolitan opolitarr Disposal system. The City of Gem Lake Municipal Sanitary sewer system feeds into this disposal system. It will be b.i 1 led in the sable manner as the regular Use Chargefor sewer service and be subject to the came penalties for late payrrrent. Section 4.15 Payment of Sewer systern charges 4.12 :(1) Sewer use charges shall be billed quarterly. Statements for sewer charges, for the preceding quarterly period, shall be mailed to each user ..of the system c+rr or before the 10t.h cif January, April, July and October of each year. Such statements shall be due and payable to the City Treasurer on or before the last dayof the month following the quarterly period covered by such statement. 4.12 (2) If the sewer charge is not paid them r}uw, then the following penalty shall be added.. to the next billing: A) Fcrr residential sewer users, a penalty of four dollars ($4. 0D) or ten (10) percent of the amount dues whichever is greater.
