Minutes of Gem Lake City Council meeting, February 18, 2014 <br /> <br />Mayor Uzpen called the meeting to order at 7:00PM <br />Present: Mayor Uzpen, Council members Lindner, Artig-Swomley, Kuny, and Bosak. Also present were <br />Paul Emeott, Taylor Delong, and Todd Delong. <br /> <br />February agenda <br />Mayor Uzpen asked for additions to the February agenda. Upon hearing no new additions, motion by <br />Bosak seconded by Artig-Swomley to approve agenda, the council voted 5-0 to approve tonight’s <br />agenda. <br /> <br />January City Council minutes <br />Upon motion by Artig-Swomley and seconded by Bosak the council voted to approve the January, 2014 <br />with minor punctuation corrections 4-0 with one abstention. <br /> <br />Old business <br />City newsletter for March-April, 2014. Potential topics included upcoming Vadnais Lake Area Water <br />Management Organization (VLAWMO) rain garden and shoreland restoration workshops, 2013 <br />budget/financial recap, and information from the forthcoming March City Council workshop. <br /> <br />New business <br />Upon a motion by Artig-Swomley and second by Kuny, the February claims were approved 5-0. <br />The monthly financial statements for December, 2013 and January, 2014 were available. <br /> <br />Presentations from the public <br />None <br /> <br />Presentations from the council
