RESOLUTION NO. 2009-07

A. RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY AMOUNT TO:BE RAISED BY
PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR.2010
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer -has presented a (Proposed) Budget of $464,655.60. which includes a
(Proposed) General TaxZevy of $411;455.00 and a Debt Tax Levy of $53,200.00 for fiscal and
calendar year, 2010 based upon best estimates of costs for running.the City of Gem Lakdin.201*0;
and
WHEREAS, these .estimates were reviewed by the City Council -on 18- August, 2008 and amended
based upon best information received from outside eoritractors anA.input from: the City Council, and.
revised by the City Council on 18 August,- 2004; -and
WHEREAS, the City Council did. -review the (Proposed) Budget and Tax. Debt for 2010, iiialadmg
all revisions thereto as of the date first written.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT .RES.OLVED,. that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does
formally adopt the. 2009 Preliminary General Fund Budget of-$46%582A6 which includes a
_ Preliminary PropertyTax .Levy of $464,05*.00 which includes.A Genetal.T" Levy of $411,455.00
and a Debt Levy of S53,200.00. for 201.0 as prepared by the City. Treasurer and amended by the City
Couneil�.and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that-the-Cky Clerk is charged with Certifying said Tax and. -Debt
Levy to Ramsey County Property Toxaoon and other government bodies for whom. this information
is required..
The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor -abd.was supported by
Councilor. and was declared adopted based upon the following vote:
