City of Gem Lake, MN <br />Resolution No. 2019-004 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A <br />PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO NEW TRAX, INC. A <br />TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FOR SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH <br />DISABILITIES. <br />WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds <br />from the Country Lounge, <br />WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local schools and charities, <br />WHEREAS, that the City Treasurer is authorized to send to NewTrax, Inc., the amount of <br />$500.00 for the City of Gem Lake's contribution for the year to be used for their <br />transportation program for seniors and people with disabilities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Gem Lake approves <br />the donation of $500.00 to NewTrax, Inc. <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor <br />Lindner and was supported by Councilor Artig-Swomley and was declared adopted based <br />upon the following vote: 5 yes, 0 no. <br />F.-Ito1*31 <br />I, Gloria Tessier, the duly qualified Acting City Clerk of the City of Gem Lake, County <br />of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution is a true <br />and accurate representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake <br />on the date first written. <br />Gloria Tessier, Acting City Clerk Date <br />
